The Door

I am the door,
that beckons you
to light and life
to the full.

Knock and
I will open.

But don't delay,
for the day
comes when
I will forever shut.

nice blog, good thoughts, nice photos. For this one, though, it's just a bit too much like those marketing schemes that I just turn my back on immediately: buy/pay/sign up now before it's too late because an offer like this only comes around once! Just so they can get your money and commitment right away. Our Lord is not like that. Don't scare people off.

Thanks, Gary. And thanks too for the GBA reports.

Achillepatro,

What about the parable of the wise and foolish virgins? (Matthew 25:1-13). The last verse of my poem was an allusion to Matthew 25:10-13. Was Jesus scaring people off?
